You may have seen this going around livejournal (I know it was around last year) and DA. Maybe even Myspace. I dunno, I never use my account there. :P I'm changing it a little bit to be more forum friendly especially since, realistically, you wouldn't want to be giving out your address online.

Anyways, here are the rules for posting:

Step One

• Make a post here. The post should contain your list of 5 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything that can be given to you over the internet. i.e.: avatars, signature images, artwork, paid subscriptions to livejournal, DA, etc. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want
• Make sure to provide some extra contact info like your e-mail address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. Just in case PMs don't go through.

Step Two

• Check this thread to see other's lists. Here's the important part:
• If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true.
• You don't need to spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone's else's holiday elf -- to spread the a little cheer. Gifts can be made anonymously or not, its your call.
• There are no obligations, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just ... wish and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing that you made someone's holiday special.
