The person that's been bumping old threads is quite new and I don't think she gets the "hang" of it yet. Hopefully she'll get used to this place soon and how it works

Yeah, I noticed she's a bit new too I think I did the same thing, only a couple threads though, and only in the customs forum. I think it only gets a little problematic when it happens in the selling/buying/trading forums.

I feel like there should be some kind of way to group posts... like a playlist of sorts, if that makes sense.
For example- all of Kar's tips of the week, or all of a particular customizers works collected...
Something like that.

okay I had a dream this was real then I woke up and thought- hey, that's a good idea.
what about adding a forum called like "the time machine" (that's what it was in my dream) or something where we can move really old posts like old sales threads or contests that aren't going on anymore or something.
idk... maybe I'm still loopy from dreaming or maybe it's a good idea I won't trust my judgment though.

Actually, I second both of Beths most current suggestions... They sound really cool.

I know we previously had this.. but I miss it.. Can we get the notepad back? I didn't know it was there at first.. and now I wish I did. I have all kinds of notes I would have put on it.
Also, I have kept thinking about this lately and want to know if it's possible. When working on a sales or trade post I usually do things in rounds. But I want to put up each round when I get it done, instead of wait for it all and then do it in one long butt sitting session. Would it be possible to get a "hold" or a "limbo" place where you can work on a post before actually posting it?

okay I have another... this might be hard to do but it might make buying and selling ponies 1000x easier...
we make some sort of system (would take forever and a lot of research) a database, really of EVERY pony ever released.
when someone is posting a sales thread, instead of typing out the ponies they have... they choose them from the list. same thing when someone is looking for a pony.
the only difference between this and just going into the advanced search is that you would find the exact pony you're looking for...
Say I'm searching for the diva TinkaTinkaToo (not hypothetical, seriously gimme Tinka!) and I type her in to the search thingy. It comes up with x amount of results but most of them are the donkey tinka and then somewhere else in the thread it happens to say "diva" even though it's 2 different things.
Now if we could make a system like this... someone nice enough to sell a diva tinka would just choose her from the list, and then when a buyer (me) comes along- they search for that pony and lo and behold! the seller's thread appears.
I'm not sure if that makes ANY sense, and it would probably only be practical for the G3's with tons of variations or maybe even the international variants of G1's
Only suggesting because necessity is the mother of invention (or something along those lines) and right now that pony is NECESSARY lol...
*falls over from being tired of finding donkey tinkas*

The Forums are set to undergo a large upgrade with many new features added.
More to be advised regarding that on the main boards soon.
