Reminder regarding Raffles

Raffles are NOT allowed at the MLPTP unless they are free to enter. This is due to Paypal terms of service, as well as different state and country laws regarding raffles. Per Paypal's Terms of Service:

You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:

6. involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes unless the operator has obtained prior approval from PayPal and the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law.

Paypal is serious about this, and previous raffle organizers have gotten their Paypal accounts suspended for accepting money for raffles.

What about a raffle that are asks for a donation? I'm raffling off a Fair pony to get money for the North Shore Animal League,would it be okay if I ask for a donation instead of charging per ticket? I don't want to break any rules!
