'Spring' ~ Another crazy crafty in the flower pony series

She is the third in my flower pony series.
I hope to make at least one more!

Her coloration represents the first week of spring,
when the nights are still frosty and the morning sun makes the trees begin to bloom.

She was made from a tatty old Sunlight ^_~
She's undergone a full body repaint, and I rehaired her
with artificial amaranthus vines, and dressed her in a coat
of white and green blossoms.

Meeting her sister Autumn for the first time.

Flower ponies are a fusion of two passions -
the natural beauty of flowers and the plastic cuteness of My Little Pony.

A lovely idea to mix the different colored flowers.....
Flowers and ponies go so well together,,,,,

Yes, there's a winter one in the works!

Summer was the first one I made and she's out in sunny So. California.

She's gorgeous! I love the colors. Are the vines actually rooted into her mane plugs? Or is there hair underneath there? I can't wait to see all 4 seasons together! Do share.

Flowerpot is still my all-time fave, but I do love Spring's colors!
PS-This is your customizing muse speaking...You are thinking of doing a pony with foxgloves on it... :P

Oh wow! She is very beautiful! Did you actually root thoes vines into each hair plug, or glue them? I really like her eyes, and that blue is fantastic!

Oh man did i miss the fall pony post? Spring looks fantastic!! I love your creativity Kar you really are insperational. Keep it up, i want more... maybe that foxglove pony... hee heee, *agrees with foxglove*

Yes, flower ponies' hair vines are rooted in ^_^
I used 28 gauge green coated nickel florist wire folded in half and pushed through the hair holes to catch the vines and pull them in tight.

Foxgloves are gorgeous flowers! They remind me of the film The Mirror Has Two Faces.
I promise I will use them at some point, there will be many more flower ponies in my future ^_^
I'd also like to try doing one in all blues and purples, and one with lily of the valley.
