Talking Mardi Gras with Nola!
I've decided that since Friday the 13th, Valentines Day, and Mardi Gras are so close together this year, I'm skipping Valentines Day (for other reasons than the closeness) and went straight to a Mardi Gras pony! My mother named her "Nola" for New Orleans, LA, the home of the best Mardi Gras party EVER!













So technical stuff. Was a Tinka that I took hair from ^^; She still has her magnet. Painted her ears, and legs in a checker board style alternating between teal and yellow. Painted the eye color highlight pink. Gave her fancy gold eye/face makeup. And superglued a mardi gras mask charm on her; I like the 3D effect it has. Oh, and I wired in strands of mardi gras beads as her mane and tail ^^ That's my favorite part about her.

So that's it. She's for sale if anyone wants to make an offer you know. If not she'll be stuck on my shelf with all the others...

Mardi Gras is February 24th. Mark your calendars and grab your beads!
