Well here's my update ^^

Hair FINALLY came yesterday so I spent 2 hours re-rooting her and it's nice and lengthy ^^ I ran into a bit of snag with her eyes (drew them on at first but my finish coat rubs it off so there is a a but of a light purpleness around her eyes but hopefully it's not so bad. ) but I painted them on now so just waiting from them to dry before I can seal it.

But she's almost done ^^ just to add the few finishing touches I gotta say I think she's gonna be wonderful ^^ sorry about my absence but you know college ^^;

Quick update! she's done

while I was typing I finished her off and now she ready to some photos but I need to wait till I can get to my friends place this weekend ^^; but she is done and I will take photos ^^ I gonna have to mail her in a box...

I'm trying frantically to get her done before I have jury duty next week, and a major surgery the week after. I even took Mr. Skeen fabric shopping with me. I swear, he's more girly foofy than I am, and even made some great suggestions!

My hair is in, but I didn't want to rehair her til I had all the clothes at least made for her, since I don't want to be taking clothes on and off to remeasure if I mess up.

EDIT - I forgot to mention that I've switched my character! LOL Coming down to the wire to be doing so, but I have my reasons, lol. One, I found the right fabric! Two, dollyhair makes her hair color, and 3, I think I can manage to DO her hair!

My hair has arrived. I'm still working with the sculpt. I want to finish that before I rehair.

I FINALLY got my bait today.. eBay seller was a wee bit slow. I'm currently working on a pattern using scrap materials, and am going to buy the real material in a couple weeks when I visit my parents. I should have the pattern finished and a mock-up sewn by then. I should be able to sew the actual outfit on the 9hr plane ride back. :P

I'm also gathering my other materials and using apoxie sculpt to make her accessories. I have back-up paint in case the paint I ordered doesn't arrive in time.

Well, I'm off to dehair and prep my bait!

Glad to read the updates. I've gotta touch mine back up. I was finalizing some paint work and then got shakey and i've got a horrible unneat paint line going. I hope I can smooth it out and fix it.

Yeaah, I'm still as far along as I was in those pictures >.< But I've had a crazy last two weeks, which is for the most part, ending today

I'm handing in two papers and my next isn't due for 8 days, so I'll be probably sealing and sewing this weekend. Rerooting will come last because I don't want to it stick to anything.

Our deadline is between April 25th for international ship date and May 1 for domestic ship date, so we have a bit of time, but it's best to crunch down now so you've got some extra time in case something happens. And it's always best to try to ship out early as possible. I hope to get mine out in the next week or so.
