I'm not a runner, and I'm appalled that you'd think so. =(
Just to elaborate on my progress, if you could call it that... >_>
The sculpting is finished. I need to order hair, which I can't do until Dolly hair comes back up... I have school tonight, so tomorrow I'm going out to hunt down supplies for the rest. I thought I had what I needed from past projects, but I'm missing just a few things. It's really hard to find supply shops here in Japan, so I hope I don't have to resort to ordering online... The base 'craft store' is really... Bare. (It sucks.) But, there you have it. My update, albeit small and incredibly late. Again, I apologize. I don't come to the forums unless I have something to report, and up till now I didn't have much. My time goes into caring for my young children, cleaning house, cooking dinner, going to school, and sleep. It's a rather dull schedule...

I'm not in this swap, Tenjou, but i'd like to throw in my 2 cents.
Number one, you haven't been heard from for weeks. When that happens and the custom isn't even started yet, people tend to think you're a bailer.
Number two, if you're *that* busy you should not have joined in the first place. I wouldn't have joined the Zelda swap if I had a whole lot to do (and we all know how much I love zelda)
Number 3, Skeen finished your custom. She had a surgery and everything! >.>

I don't really need to be lectured by you, sweetie. =/ When I joined the swap, I wasn't in school, and when I started school, it was spur of the moment. I can't really control my kids either, as far as their needs and want go that is.
Not to mention that my final is this Thursday, and I have been studying like mad the past two weeks. Intensive Japanese study is not easy.

You need to be lectured by someone.
Intensive Japanese study, your kids, and your "dull" schedule are not my problems - they're yours. I am sick and tired of being shafted in custom swaps because OMG! Life happened! Yeah, life happens - I had major surgery and could barely use my arms for about 2 weeks. You know what? I still managed to finish your custom on time. Sure, I was "unmotivated" also - being sleep deprived, in constant pain and on narcotics will do that to you.
You joined the swap on your own - that's an obligation. If you don't check in for weeks except to say "hey, not started yet" and then send a fairly snarky PM to your partner about how you're still not done, yeah, that pretty much classifies you as a runner. Sure, you're not the only one who missed the ship date, but you're the only one who came in here with a sob story about how your life is so busy/boring you just can't make a custom. LOTS of people in swaps have kids and obligations. Most of them don't use them as an excuse for totally dropping the ball.

I'm not lecturing anyone. >.> I was just bringing out a point. I'm just telling you what I think. Skeen could hardly walk to her studio for what, 2 weeks? But yet she finished her custom for you. >.> And kids do sleep. That's what naps and nightime are for...? Plenty people have kids and finish stuff on time...

LOL DPP, if you ever saw my 'studio" you'd probably never call it that again. A coffee table and couch in my loft do not a studio make. Especially since the cats tend to carry off whatever isn't nailed down or locked up.

Fine, you're all right. I'm a terrible person for not checking in. I'm sorry you took my problems as a sob story. Really, they aren't. It's a fact of life that sometimes life gets in the way. It's currently 1am, and I am awake working on this pony when I should be asleep. Only one of my children takes a nap during the day, so when she sleeps, I play with my older son. So sorry for wanting to spend time with him. I admit that I haven't been very good about checking in, and I apologize. I just don't tend to visit the forums as much as I used to, and if I don't have anything to report, I don't come. Aside from that, I have been in contact with the swap leader outside of the forums. I also must say that I feel my PM was anything but snarky, but if you took it that way, I apologize for that as well. It's my fault for being unmotivated due to lack of sleep and other misc things. My dilema with the FF Swap pony was a major down set for me. I'd never had so many problems with a pony that should have been a sinch to complete. But here I am 'making excuses' again. I'm afraid I can't do much else until the morning comes, so I can go hunt for supplies that I will hopefully find. I thought I had everything, but apparently I was mistaken. Also, DollyHair.com is down, so I can't order hair. I'm looking for it from other customizers though, so hopefully I will have some luck. See, as soon as I get into it, something happens. This will be my last swap pony. I, too, am tired of 'getting shafted' in custom swaps. I can promise you that I will have a pony for you asap. It all depends on how long it takes me to find the hair I need. Delivery to my address takes 7-10 days. I'm telling you this up front, so that I won't have to come up with another excuse later on because it simply isn't an excuse. It's the truth. Once more, I apologize. I cannot begin to say how sorry I am for seeming like a total flake. It's not who I am. Usually...
