Sailor Neptune - Sailor Moon Custom Swap for Sailor Libra!

This is Sailor Neptune, my custom swap pony for Sailor Libra. She's not 100% done (you can see that part of her shoe broke off in one of the pictures and she still needs her choker attached), but I couldn't wait to take pictures, as she's pretty much complete as of today

This is my first really complicated custom. First time I've sewn, first time I've used lots of sculpy. While she's not perfect, I'm really happy with her.

I think I'll probably do the whole Sailor Scout troup as a summer project

Wow... you did an amazing job! I love that you made the eyes look anime-ish even. How did you get the hair to do just those soft, subtle curls? I love it! Fantastic job on the clothes too. This is just an amazing custom ^.^

Hehe, well I got her hair wet, seperated it into four different pieces and twirled them fairly loosely around Q-tips and held them there with hair clips until mostly dry. I then undid them and brushed them out so they wouldn't be totally curly. I did the same with the tail, but it didn't turn out too well. I'm probably going to go back and redo it because it doesn't look as full when it's curly.

Ahhh.... Thank you for sharing! I'm gonna have to remember that when I start customizing... it's nice seeing curls that aren't the tight spirals. Don't get me wrong, those are so pretty, but I love how natural looking your curls are ^.^
