I'm not a member of any of the other boards. But I did finish my custom for Skeen's swap. It's still in progress, so no feedback for that yet. Same for a couple of art swaps here also.

soooo.. i have NEVER done a custom of any kind.. well i did make a plushie once..
but i would love to try!
i feel like im a pretty artsy creative person..
and i do have a bit of perfectionism in me too. especially when im making something for someone else

but like i said i have never done anything like this so i could be in over my head...
i have no supplies as of yet, however i do have bait G1s and i aim to please!

so what do you think? does it cost a lot to get basic supplies? (i actually do have quite a bit of quality acyrilic paints, is that what you use?) i dont think the time limit will be a problem but who knows...

maybe i could be matched up with another beginner so that the other person doesnt get their hope up too high LOL!!

relceleste, I'd estimate the cost of basic supplies (paint/sealer, a brush/makeup sponges, hair, glue for the hair, and a rehair tool if you choose that method) to be about $30-35. This, of course, depends on how many hair colors you'll need and where you order your hair, mainly. If it's within your budget, we'd love to have you. Just PM me your form, and I'll give you a more detailed list of supplies/recommendations if you want.

maybe i will just practice a bit with the stuff i have and see if i enjoy it enough to invest in some legit supplies
