Sailor Pluto - Sailor Moon Swap 2.0 (for Skeen)

ひさしぶり！ ^_^;

I know, I procrastinate and lose track of time, but I finally got her finished and shipped. Seems she arrived a few days ago, so I'll be posting pics now!

Sailor Pluto started out as a Sparkleworks. I sculpted everything but her skirt, collar and bows, which are made of fabric. I wanted to do the whole thing in fabric, but pony-shaped body suits are so not my specialty. >_>; I couldn't get the skirt shaped right either, so full sculpting was out of the question as well. I settled with a combination of both, and I'm quite happy with her. ^^v Aside from the red bows not being quite as dark as I'd like, I was really running out of options, so I had to settle. Her hair is Dark Envy from CustomPony.com. DollyHair was down when I went to order hair, and since I was already a bit late, I didn't have time to wait. Turns out she didn't have a colour dark enough to my liking anyway. xD I don't like her bangs, but heaven and **** they were giving me trouble! >_>; Maybe Skeen can fix them. <_<;

Anyway, enough chatter. Here's a reference pic for those of you who don't have a clue as to whom Sailor Pluto is, follow by pics of the pony herself. ^^ Enjoy~

I really think the combo looks very nice. I personally don't like alot of clothing sculpting because it takes the tactility out of the custom. I much prefer a mixture of fabric and sculpting and I think this a perfect combination. She's really outstanding.

I love her! When I put her on my custom shelf I spent ages fiddling with her long hair to make it just right. What color/brand of paint did you use to get that lovely dark skin tone?

Mr. Skeen says thanks for the candies; I noticed half of them are gone and I have not had any yet.

I'm so glad you like her. ^^ I hope she was worth the wait. @_@; I used Liquitex acrylic paints. They're excellent! I have to find more colours~ *_*

You know what, as soon as you said Liquitex I knew exactly what color it was and exactly where in my house that particular color is. I'm going to have to think of something to do with it!
