Well apparently she made it to her new home, so I can FINALLY show her XD;;
I actually finished her in the first week of July and after all our moving around I was really happy I didn't loose her ^^;
So anyways, the assignments were handed out while I was at the MLP Fair so I didn't find out who I had until I came home. Fortune smiled on me though because I happened to bring back the perfect bait! Add that to my mad Google skills and this lovely lady came into being.
She came to me as a very sad Molassis who had white stuff on her (white out?) and nealy no mane and a horribly chopped tail. Luck would have it though that she was the perfect body color for G3 RibbonWishes. So off went her symbols, away went the hair. I cleaned up her eyes though, because they too were the right colors!
The to Google I went for a reff because I don't own this pony. The frustrating thing was that she had hair variations. One that went blue-teal-purple-blue-teal-purple, and one that was purple-teal-blue-purple-teal-blue AND THEN the reff I was using looked like it was blue-teal-purple in 3 segments not 6. It was crazy!
So I instead chose to follow Molassis' original hair segments and rooted it in purple-teal-blue pattern. I came up with an odd number though so there's an extra purple segment, but I figured it added a G1-ness to it and the first purple segment was only 1 lined :shrug:
Hair came from SB (purple), CloudPuff (teal), and RD/Tinka (blue) clippings; tail came from the same sources. Symbols painted by hand with acrylics and sealed; eyes were fixed up and sealed too.
I did sign and date her under one hoof. After having her for a moth I was almost sad to see her leave. But I know Gypsy will enjoy her ^^
