To continue or to start from scratch again?

c/p from the Arena. Yay for more opinions XD

I have a pony that I had baked with Super Sculpty months and months ago.. and recently I tried to paint her but after getting some of the paint on.. I'm finding that I'm not very happy with her.

The Pony in Question:

There were just several flaws I saw when I started painting (not shown in the image) and I'm finding the way I did some of the sculpting is making it harder to paint. Now that I have Apoxie Sculpt, if I do remove the sculpty from this pony I can go a head and paint the pony the color I wanted her to be then add the sculpting.

Do you guys think it's worth it to start from scratch with her again??

What are the flaws that you see? She looks great from here ~ But I understand being your own worst critic, having done customs myself I know what it's like to want it perfect >.<

Sculpt first, then paint! Unless you're entirely encasing the body somehow that it can't separate - or glueing sculpted painted bits on later with gorilla glue or another ultra-strong adhesive, that works too. But with painting then sculpting I fear that the clay will pull the paint off the pony.

Well most of the flaws are on the face and around the front of the neck. Now that I have some more experience with customizing there are some things I wanted to change on her, esp. how I do the tail and detail the mane.

I see. Well if it were me, I hate to waste material so I'd paint this pony up and ROAPK her or store her unpainted for a future swap or something, and start fresh for my personal project.
