What to do with these cracked hair plugs?

So, I currently own a beheaded and dehaired Twilight Sparkle who I plan on experimenting on with paints and such. But she has a bit of a problem!

See, most of her hair plugs on one side are all cracked together like a big earthquake. She was already like this when I bought her, here's how it looked when she still had hair:

I think it got worse when the hair was removed.

I've never tried rerooting a mane before, but I'm doubting that this would be a suitable head for trying that on. Does anybody know if it's possible?
If not, I do have other plans.

I've rehaired through cracked plugs before. The trick is getting all the hair to stay in place before you glue it in.

What I would do is rehair all the unbroken plugs as normal, then rehair the cracked ones and make sure to KNOT the hair before it goes in (it won't be difficult to do since the plastic is split anyway). The knot will help hold it in place. I also tend to stuff more hair than normal in broken plugs holes, which also helps keep it in place. Then just make sure you glue it all in like you normally would. It wouldn't hurt to try and have something squeeze the head while the glue dries.

If I bought this MIB I would have taken her back to the store asap if you waited to open and was to late for store refund I would contacted Hasbro.

I would still send in the picture of Twilight with hair to Hasbro to let them know some one is doing a horrible quality control job. They might send you a 'thank you' replacement anyways.

Good luck on the re-hair. I wouldn't be able to do one like that.

I don't know if that would be a fault of Hasbro's, if the cracked split happened as the result of a needle being pushed in to the scalp, or if it happened while pulling the original hair out...

But if it was already like that before you removed the hair, oh boy... that might pose as quite a defect.

Skeen pretty much said what I would have- glue and knot!

I sure hate it when that happens, though. >____< Usually happens if I make plugs too close together, with a larger sized needle in my re-hair tool.
