How Do I Paint a Pony?... What should I use?

Hi Everyone!

I recently purchased a "Decorate your own Pony" off ebay, and I can't wait to see what I can create!
But... I've never done-up a Pony before, surely have never painted one!

What type of paint should I use?
Can I purchase the paint somewhere online?

i would recommend acrylic paints their easy to find at walmart or craft stores also make sure to get some sort of sealant

Too cool, I have thought about making my own too, I am just not so artistically inclined. Hair dying the pony should be fun too

Hate to rain on your parade or anything, but Hasbro.com has them for $4.99 each. I'm thinking of getting one, because I don't like to bait actual ponies.

I was reluctant to say anything because like I said, Moon Willow, I didn't want to make you feel bad. The whole story in the ad was they had bought a bunch of them cause they do therapy work with kids, and they use the ponies as art projects.
But went on to say they needed more ponies, and thats why they selling the ones they already had. Well, if they need the ponies.. why are they selling them?

I did find this contradictive, but they were the cheapest on ebay, and I certainly didnt know Hasbro still sells them.. for 5 bucks. :eeek:
