Ontario Ponyfans Meetup

Well, we seem to have a lot of rumbling on the possibility of a MLP meetup here in Ontario.Hopefully, if this proves sucessful enough, it could be the starting point for an eastern Canada pony convention.
So let's get planning!

Where? Ottawa? Toronto? London? What's closer to more people...

When? October? November? Holiday meet in December?

Who? How many MLP fans might be interested in the meetup?

What? What sort of events would interest other MLP fans. Selling and trading? Pony beauty contest? Custom raffle? Movies? Games?

I'm personally thinking of a 1 day during the day occasion, an all-day get together with food and fun and trading and maybe some entertainment

Anyone interested in this?

I have hosted 2 meets and they were so much fun! And people from London On, NY city area, Buffalo area and more all came out to it. And I had one at my parent's farm and one at my new home.

Woot! I just got back tonight from seeing Sky Rocket's new place, and can safely say it's big enough for to hold a Pony Meet! Woohooo! So the Toronto Pony Meet will be back on track this Fall

It would certainlly be awsome if someone's holding a meet somewhere else too, but I know people have been mouring the loss of the Toronto Pony Meet for the last year... so let me assure everyone we will have one, soon

And on that subject, when's a good time for everyone? I figure have enough time for everyone to settle into school, but before (or after!) those pesky exams. Maybe sometime after Thanksgiving? What would work best with people? Let us know!

Sometimes it's hard for people to get time off in december, especially if you work in retail. October sounds the best to me. I'd prefer the Toronto area as I already live 8hrs north right now. Long trip if it's only 1 day.

I would probably go to any Ontario meet, but prefer Toronto, to driving 4 hours to Niagara Falls. I was actually thinking of hosting a small pony meet in Muskoka. I'd rent out the church basement nearby on a Saturday. I was thinking of sometime in August or September. I have a lot of ponies to sell and thought it would be fun to meet some new people and do the regular pony meet stuff. Even if it's a meet with a few other pony people would be awesome!
