Here's mine! Introducing, Silver Lining!
On the night of a full moon, Step Lightly gave birth to a beautiful, healthy filly in shallow cave. Moonlight caressed the two ponies and offered comfort to them both. As Step Lightly was nuzzling her newborn child, she gasped softly at the sight of small, delicate, gossamer wings unfurling from er new daughter's back. They were transparent and quite unlike her own, almost as if a magic hand had spun them into being...
Inquisitive eyes met warm loving ones as the mother also saw that her baby had no horn, but a small jewel that glowed with the light of the full moon. Step Lightly reassured her baby as she stirred and the little one finally put her head down to sleep. Watching her daughter's small belly go in and out with each small, sweet breath, Step Lightly wished Cast No Shadow was with her to welcome their miracle. She was beautiful...not pegasus or unicorn, but something completely her own.
Seeing hope for a better future mirrored in the jewel upon her newborn's head, Step Lightly sighed and whispered softly, "Welcome to the world, my Silver Lining. You have great things ahead of you..."
When I was drawing her, she seemed like such a character to me. A little mischievious and charismatic. She seems to be full of wonder and hope, hence the name, 'Silver Lining'. In her world, every cloud has one.
