Texas Meet 2010

Well, I was just curious if anyone is planning on doing a meet in Texas? I would love to go to the con in Nevada, but it is not really possible with work, funds, etc. If anyone plans on doing a Texas meet or knows about any Toy Fairs, etc. that will be here this year let me know please.

As far as I know there wasn't any formal plans for one. Last year we tried but I was super pregnant and just couldn't keep up. I guess there is still time to plan something this year, but I've been pretty out of touch with ponies since my daughter was born, but I'm still willing to host at my place and provide food if someone wants to plan the majority of the details. I'm in NE Houston, Humble specifically.

I've never done anything pony related, but I think I'd be game for this =D It's always fun hanging out with people who share the same interests as myself ^_^

Oooh! I'd love to go to (or host!) another pony meet! I'll be out of town all of July though. But let's have one! My scooter pony is all souped up and ready to rock, and my pony cake pan needs to bring forth another pony cake! YAY! Count me in!!!! (And, if people want to come back to Taylor, assuming our house doesn't sell by then - no one's looking, I think it's safe! - my house is open! I need some help though....)

Hrm... We're planning on closing on our first house in the middle of July. Perhaps if we can get our act together and plan this for next year around the middle of June or July. If Texas wasn't so huge I'm sure people from other states would love to join in the fun. No one said it had to be a Texas only thing though, more the merier! I see we have a couple in the Dallas area, and couple in the Huston area that are interested. I think that deciding where in Texas to have this thing might prove difficult. Any ideas?

ah man, I freakin loved your meet Elph, I think you were pretty central, and you have such a lovely house. Speaking of which, why are you selling it?

I'd love to but with funds and transportation it's really all going to depend on where and when it is. I have plans to hit a BUNCH of anime conventions this summer and help my dad out with his booth but I'll have to work around those weekends.

Basically if peeps keep me in touch on this I'd love to go.

I'm in Albuquerque, but would be interested if not too far away. Texas is huge, so if it were on the west side, that would be cool.
