We're planning on coming at the moment, also will be visiting a friend in Brooklyn (if I ever hear back from her!) and of course the AG doll store as DB already said. I picture our schedule being that we go first to the AG store which can't possibly take too terribly long (not gonna do any of their expensive little tea parties no-sir!) then dropping in on the picnic with... hmm, who shall we bring along, DB?... before eventually heading off to Brooklyn.
How about I make some miscellaneous sandwiches and cut 'em up? PBJ, cucumber, cheese, stuff that won't get icky in the heat. (because if it doesn't rain, you *know* we're all gonna roast)
Looking forward to seeing and meeting folks!

I should be able to make it, unless something happens between now & then! I'm looking over travel options. Kar, I'll send you an email to get your opinion.

DBM - sounds great! Thanks and maybe I'll start up a list in the first post with what everyone's a-bringin'.
KKV - sure thing! I'll check my mail later and again tomorrow before we head down the shore - if I miss you I'll catch ya on sunday (or just call me - got no 'net down there but the phone works)

I took the day off so I will be there as long as everything goes according to plan. We still have people coming I hope :P? I was going to make a pasta salad of some sort to take with me (no tomatoes).
If there is plan of rain what day will we decide to postpone it?
Can't wait to meet all of you (and see some of you again).

As far as food... is it cool if I bring chips, cheese curls, & pretzels (some or all of the above)? I'm looking for something light & easy to carry (and NOT spill) since I'll be on the train or bus.

Foxtale - Can't wait to meet you too! Thanks for the no-tomatoes.... *hug*
KKV - Sure, chips/pretzels would work fine, maybe someone else can bring a dip?
Crackers and cheese are also lightweight and easily carried option.

Update everyone - looks like there will be a storm system in the area for Saturday, but as of right now it looks like the rain will come in the evening, and into Sunday. It's still too far off to tell for sure.
The picnic is still on for this weekend. If the forecast changes again I'll keep everyone notified here!

Can't come ;~;.
I didn't get a notice from the TP saying I had any new messages from here, so I didn't know to check for this ( not really active on the TP at all ).
I wish I had known ahead of time, I could have requested this Saturday off from work! ;~; Oh well.
Have fun, guys and gals!

I stopped at the store on my way home today & picked up a bag of chips, bag of pretzel wheels, 2 boxes of Toasteds party mix crackers (buttercrisp, wheat, & seasame), a can of mild cheddar cheese dip, & a can of sour cream & onion dip. All fits nicely in my grocery tote, so it should work out well on the train. Hope this suits everyone! See ya Saturday!!
