Question Central Park NYC Pony Picnic August 8th 2009 - THANKS FOR COMING!




Who's up for a meeting this July or August in Central Park?

We tried to do one last year but it rained in the morning, and it was cancelled - a few people turned up anyway and we made a fun day out of it despite the ground being squishy.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow TP-ers in a public, outdoor atmosphere.
There will be food, friends, plenty of pony talk and maybe even a game or two?


Pony Pot Luck Picnic in the Park

Tentative Date: Saturday, August 1, 2009
Noon to 6:00 PM
Meet at Belvedere Castle steps ( Mid-Park at 79th Street)

I'll be bringing a pony cake and encourage everyone to bring your favorite main-dish or side-dish to share.
We aren't allowed to grill there so whatever you bring should be cooked already.

I will supply plates, napkins, & plasticware.
I will also have iced tea, or you can bring your own beverage.

That's awesome that you're available for all of those Saturdays.
I hope more people are as flexible!
After we pick a date I could use some opinions on a theme for the pony cake.
(I was thinking about doing SS Scrumptious, but I'm open to anything)

Hmm, maybe I should add a poll to this topic, for choosing a meet date?

Bummer, 'cos I'd love to meet you in person! Maybe there's someone else there you can switch days with so you can take a saturday?

Oh, I really want to go! I work on Saturdays, but if it has to be on a Saturday I could ask for the day off once a date is set. I voted for August 8 since that would be the best day for me.

I'm so excited! I've yet to meet any pony people in person.
