I went over and voted ^-^
How has housing been done in past meets? Hotels? Just curious.. not really too familiar with Jewel's area >.>
As the date gets closer, I'll worry more about how I'm going to get there :P I would love to be able to make it this year though.

As soon as I get the venue pinned down, I'll be posting information about all the nearby hotels / restaurants / etc, no worries. That should be up soon.

LOL I'll say right up front, don't hold your breath on that one :P Actually, I'm certain that won't be happening.
BUT!
There will be other exclusive MD Meet gear and souvenirs available, absolutely.
What, exactly? You'll have to wait and see!

Oh, Jewel! How I wish I had been an active member when I lived in DC. I would've loved to go to the meet.

I love having the meet at Jewel's home. That is a big part of what makes it so special. Staying at an event for 8hrs or more is much more enjoyable when you have couches, comfy chairs and a wrap around porch with lots of furniture to hand out on. That said, I would follow Jewel no matter where she decides to have the meet. ANYWHERE.
Jewel, I don't know how much the souvenirs cost to make and renting a venue but with the attendance rising, maybe charging admission to cover the cost of an official Hasbro pony instead of the aforementioned things would be a nice trade off. Just a thought.
Last year, despite size, it looked like you could actually still accommodate another 5 people who need display/selling space (believe it or not, there was a bit more space not used!), even a few more with some more tables on the side porch. More than ten more than last year (that would be what, 50 collectors?) Would mean needing another room, restricting table space or *sigh* another venue. I vote restrict/limit table space to a certain size. I love, love, love Jewel's place.

Also should say, I support whatever Jewel decides. I know it must be getting more stressful to have the meet at her home and I don't want to appear selfish!

I'd love to make it to the next meet. It's been awhile since I've had the chance to get to one.
Jewel has the best meets ever! I have no problem chipping in/paying a fee to attend. Hall, house, basketball court (lol) where ever!

Jewel,
Do you need any help planning? The holiday months are slow at work and I would be happy to lend a hand. I can help research thing if you like. Or, whatever you need me to do. Please just PM me!
Ps- I may be in Army basic training when the meet comes around. But I still want to help for sure! Maybe someone can make me a custom Army pony! heheheh
