Is there ANY market for Beanie Babies?

So, my dad thought it would be a good idea to invest in Beanies, like probably about 50% of the population at the time. Now we have hundreds in storage in pristine condition, some really old and "retired" and whatnot. But neither of us know what to do with them.

Is there anyone in the world who still wants Beanie Babies? Should I try to trade them here, ship them off to Ebay, what?

I'd probably resort to ebay. My understanding is after the fad passed they became virtually worthless save a select few. Unless there's a community out there somewhere for them, then ebay is probably your best bet to at least get your money back.

Less than $1 each except for like, wingless Quackers who's still only $100. Not sure on ones like the dinos and such but really not that much anymore. Certainly not anywhere near as much as during the middle of the hype.

I looked on ebay a while back when I decided I needed to clear space (mine were never an investment, just a hobby I've since grown out of). And that's what I came up with >.>;

My kids want them but I don't think anyone else does. We find them at every thrift store we go to, unlike ponies!

I'm usually only after the dragons, unicorns, pegasus and horses. I have most of the early ones, it's just the later ones that I pick up if I can find them.

I still buy them when I find them, but I haven't seen any that are worth a lot of money in quite a while. I do know my mother has one of the more valuable variants of Patti, but their value very much depends on who's buying.

I sold a winter bear on ebay for 0.99. I really didn't know the value, but figured it would go for a few dollars. Nope, the hype is over.

The most I've seen one go for in the last few years is $5.00, and those are the super-cute popular ones, like the sitting up teddy bears. Some just won't sell. I cleaned out most of mine (Except my cats, my dogs and a few individual special ones), and my grandparents tried to sell them at the fleamarket for something like $3 each, and I think maybe two sold.

I would try here first. I only collect the horse ones (and the Welsh themed ones) and others may want others because of the animal rather than the fact they are TY.

If they dont sell, then like others have said, try ebay.

Lemon Treats,Baby Soft Steps (G1), Blue Mist (MIB) and Juniper Jade (MIB).
