Those were only two I got wrong as well. I knew "daiquiri" was spelt that way because at one point in time I was addicted to SOBE's strawberry daiquiri (my favorite flavor of the SOBE drinks) and seeing the word so often helped me memorize its spelling.

ack, i got 13/15...should have done better.
I missed "daiquiri" and "apparent". I blame Peirs Anthony for the last one...it made me think of a pun from his book and I got all confused...yeah...thats it.

I got 15/15, but I've always been a good speller. I can't type to save my life though.

10/15, but I've never heard the word dumbbell before and guessed it wrong. But I'm a little ashamed that I thought that weird is spelled wierd and that sergeant is sargeant. But now I learned to spell few words right, not bad (And hey, English is not my mother tongue.)

I got 15/15. I wasn't sure about a few of them, but chose the ones that looked "right" to me. I was pondering over "dumbell" vs. "dumbbell" for a while. Oddly enough, I sometimes tend to misspell some of the words differently from the misspelled choices they gave. For example, I sometimes thought that rhythm was spelled "rhythmn," liaison was spelled "liasion," and minuscule was spelled "miniscule." I'm glad those misspellings weren't included, otherwise I could have gotten them wrong.

And previously, for the longest time, I had the tendency to spell weird as "wierd," and gauge as "guage." It wasn't until after working at my current job for a while and working with pressure gauges all the time that I finally learned to spell "gauge" correctly.

There are some words which weren't included in the quiz which I still get confused in spelling, such as "inadvertent" vs. "inadvertant" and "sherbet" vs. "sherbert."
