I made a bird group

I've decided to make a group for bird owners here called Parrots and Parakeets since I know a couple of nice people here that own birds too.

I just joined! I have a brand new Quaker named Zazu. We also have two 'tiels (Mist (pied) and Equinox (white face cinnamon pearl) as well as Hermes (blue/yellow American budgie) I will have to put a pic of Zazu up. He was outside with me while I was cleaning the budgie cage the other day.

Sometime after January, we are planning to add a Linnie to the mix. I really wanted a kakariki but my then to be 12 yr old is madly in love with Linnies. Some day, I would love an Eclectus too (and a Scarlet Macaw and ....)

Oh, I am Denise...normally over on the Arena even though I belong here too

Hah, RCP, you sound like me. "I want a this and a this and a this..." My list is so freaking long, and of course I have a taste for the rarer stuff. Parrot longevity is a good thing...except when you want a bunch of different species and limited space. It's not like a cat or a dog, where you can try a new breed out every 15-20 years. You have to pick carefully (or, as a friend says, decide you don't need furniture).
