My mom works with a lady named Happy. I thought that name was just for Adam Sandler.

I know two brothers named James and Semaj. Their father is James II, and the first born son is James III. I guess the parents couldn't think of another name because they named their next son Semaj (that's James spelled backwards).
My mom works in an elementary school and has heard some doozies of names. There was a little girl named Female (pronounced Fem-al-y). And another little girl named Ab'cde (pronounced Ab-sed-ey, yet spelled A-B-C-D-E).
I remember a girl growing up named Amanda Janda. And a boy named Rance.
And my neighbors just had a boy in August and named him Levi. And my other friends named their son Josiah.

No, No , No! MJ called his son Blanket 'cause that was his way to say "I love you". Like I "blanket" you. He even shouted "Blanket" to his fans on one of his tours. I think it was Bad tour. But yeah his real name is Prince Michael Jackson II.
Just wantet to solve that out.

I actually considered Apple (as a middle name) for my daughter. I also considered August, Amebelle, Cinnebar, and Violet as both first and middle names. I really wanted to name her Adelaide, but Brandon said it reminded him of marmalade and wouldn't agree to name her that. LOL! Also, if we had a boy I was going to name him Barent (which is a name my mom found in our family when she started doing geneology (sp?)) and call him Bear.
Some others that I've heard...My friend Jen named her daughter Maddox. At first I didn't like it too much, but now it's really grown on me, and it really suits her.
I love 'different' names. When I was growing up I only ever met one other girl with my name (of course now it's hugely popular!), but I liked being the only Hannah! It made me feel special and individual.
I forgot also my friend Jessica named her son Donovan and calls him Nova for short.
And my middle name is Minnetta. I've never met anyone else with THAT.

It's also the name of the God of Trickery in Norse mythology, and that's the nice version. He later became known as the issuer of the apocalypse (Ragnarok) after he sired 3 children of whom are to play a part in the earth's destruction; Fenrir (wolf), Hel (guardian of the underworld) and Jormungand (snake). However, his first child Sleipnir, was an 8 legged horse and was taken by Odin (the all father god) as a mount. I always found that prospective interesting... that, and having an 8 legged horse that could run near the speed of light and walk on air would kick ass...
I also say this because I met a guy who's name was Odin. You would think that he would be of Northman decent but nope, he was Puerto Rican. *chuckle* I asked him about his name and he knew of its origin. But, as to how he got the name, he never did tell me. I also knew a kid growing up whose name was Leif and his sister's name was Candle. I also knew several girls by the name Crystal, Angel, and Summer growing up. A good friend of mine named his daughter Annika after Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars. My sister's names are Mikala (Russian) and Yvette (French). I called them Mikey and Y-ve (Eee-Vee) as teasing, loving family names. My dad had to of course mess up my name and named me Shawnn with 2 n's. I had a **** of a time arguing with teachers in grade school that used to try to correct me in spelling my name to 1 n.
So yeah, if I have any children I'm not going to make this mistake. They're going to have solid American names they can be proud of... like Whopper and McShamrock Shake... *heh* I guess I'll never have to worry about it since I'll never find a companion anyways... :P

I share the double letter curse; my parents named me Starr. To make matters worse, when I was little I had an R/W lisp, so when asked to spell my name I said "S-T-A-OW-OW". >_< Plus, my sister's name is Rheyn (pronounced "rain"), and my brothers are Sky and Hale.
Also:
I know two sisters named Hunter and Chase.
My sister goes to school with a girl named Latrine.

Hahah! I forgot to note that *my* sister's name is Johnni. Latrine-toilet-john-Johnni. LMAO. My mom named her after her father (John). I told my mom it was a stupid name and I was going to call her "Turtle" instead. I still call her Johnni, though.

Turtle has a nice ring to it...XD
My sister told my Mom to name me Snow White.
My parents held a Name-the-baby contest for my youngest brother...the entries included Dolphin, Helicopter, and Sod. o_O
