Are you excited or shocked at the xmas ads showing up?

I've seen quite a few on TV and online already and I was at Walmart yesterday and they were PLAYING xmas music!! Well, sure I love Xmas, but isn't it a TAD early? Perhaps mid to LATE November to start?

Shocked.Here even before HALLOWEEN they were putting them up.....even mid November I think is still pushing it!

It seems to come earlier and earlier every year.
A week before Halloween I started seeing ads and decorations at various stores.

Oh well, here, there's a store called Hobby Lobby and they put their Xmas stuff out in July! Isn't that just crazy? It's a store that sells home furnishings and decor, so they try to get their stuff out early, but GOOD GRIEF!!!! That's so early. Let us enjoy our summer!

My thought has always been not to start the big Christmas push until the day after Thanksgiving. I can't take Christmas music before that! I'm *kind of* OK with the ads for Christmas sales and such popping up early November....I mean, let's try and get the deals early so we can focus on family and events closer to Christmas...but I don't want to hear Christmas music or see the fancy store window displays until the day after Thanksgiving.

LOL!! Xmas soda! That's awesome. Talk about drinking in the holidays! I was just shocked when I was walking through Walmart yesterday. The music just made me stop my feet and moan. They are already working on putting up the Xmas trees when you first walk through their doors. I hope I don't become a BAH-HUMBUG type person.

I think craft stores have Christmas in July so you have time knit, sew, crochet, cross stitch, etc. your hand crafted gifts.

I guess I don't worry about when the stores first put out the Christmas decorations because I shop at so few real stores. I do most of my shopping at garage sales and thrift stores throughout the year.

I do like looking at the ads for the special deals meant to lure you in.

I know I'm the weird one here, lol, but I love it! I'm the type of person that would keep my Christmas decorations up all year if my family would let me (not overboad, but more just mixed in with the rest of the decor). Last week we went to go get a new vacuum and I saw that the Christmas stuff was already out at Wal-Mart and proceeding to drag my Fiancee up and down the isles Oooing and Awwwing and gushing over all the stuff I want to get as he just rolled his eyes and laughed at me.

I love Christmas and don't mind the music, ads, nor displays in the stores. I prefer to shop early to avoid the crowds so I am doing that anyhow.
