I can't believe Bea Arthur is dead today

I am so saddened that another Golden Girl is gone :( That show has meant alot to me throughout the years. It's the one show I can turn on and always feel better no matter what's going on in my life. Of course I have all the shows on dvd so I can watch them anytime, and it's helped me alot. Seeing another person pass on just makes me feel like one by one everyone that I've known is now a part of the past, it's hard not to feel so incredibly mortal :( Sorry if I'm depressing, but I guess sometimes you look at life and realize just how fleeting it all is.

I like to think that she and Ma (Estelle Getty) are yakking it up in heaven. But she will be missed down here. She was an awesome lady!

It broke my heart when I saw this on CNN this afternoon. I just adored the Golden Girls. *sigh* We lose another shining star. RIP dearest Bea. May you no longer be in pain.

i use to watch it everyday with my gram.
its funny how i was like 8 and 9 watching it but still
liked it. :'(

I saw this early yesterday evening and was shocked as well. I really didn't think that she was that old! She was a great actress. I think I liked her best as Maude. She was awesome with comedy!

I heard about this last night and was so sad. I've always watched The Golden Girls and recently it stopped being played on Lifetime, which really is a shame. *sigh* what sad news.
