Question Need help for party tomorrow!

I've gone to a hotel once and over by the pool, they had a water cooler that had water with fruit slices (several different kinds) in it and I remember it being so refreshing, especially since I don't really like the taste of plain water. It was not sweetened and just had a hint of fruit flavor to it...

So, can anyone tell me if you've had or made this, what fruit is in it?

I am having a big party tomorrow and would like to make something similar. I know it's late notice but I thought I would be able to find something on the web... no such luck.

Thanks in advance for any help!

How to Make Refreshing Sangria and Similar Summer Drinks | eHow.com

Quote:
Serve ice water in in a punch bowl with sliced fruit - it's very colorful with a refreshing citrus taste. Amounts of sliced fruit, ice cubes and water will depend on the size of your punch bowl.

Lemons, Limes, Oranges - rinse well and slice medium thick (remove seeds as you go and discard the first and last slices of each fruit so you'll have full, round attractive slices)

Fill the bottom of your punch bowl with a single layer of ice cubes, add a row of fruit slices along the inside of the punch bowl just above the ice, slipping the slices about halfway below the ice. Add water just to the top of the fruit. Continue to add another "layer" of ice cubes, followed by another row of sliced fruit and enough water to cover the ice. Depending on the size of your bowl you'll usually do this three to four times. As you get close to the top of the bowl, use less ice and more water so you can easily add a ladle to serve the drinks. Float a few slices of fruit on the top. Extra sliced fruit can be placed in a dish nearby so you can easily add more as necessary.
I've had it served to me in restaurants before, and I love it with dinner - I think they used a slice of lemon, slice of orange and a slice of lime in each glass. Mikey tried to do it at home in a pitcher and he squeezed the lemons. Don't do that - it made the water look murky.

Thanks for the help you guys!

I ended up using orange slices, fuji apple slices dipped in lemon juice, and sliced strawberries... it was a big hit!
