Thanks everyone, it means a lot. I feel terrible, but I talked to the 30 some other students that received this deadbeat scholarship, and since they messed with our financial aid we might be able to sue for some sort of compensation. I don't want to, but I might have to. You have to understand, the scholarship organization HAS the money, but the guy passed away and the money is tied up with the estate. :/

How awful. Is it possible to take a year off while the scholarship gets sorted through? Nobody likes to do that, but maybe it will give you the opportunity to not have to sell everything you own to go to school. Or, maybe even a semester. Anything to delay, you know?

I'm going to school right now. I know how you feel, kiddo. Hang in there, please keep us posted! <3

I hope everything works out for you. I know that you don't want to sell your collection, but your education is more important than plastic horses. Try to stay enrolled. I wish I'd been able to. And just think, when you're a vet, you'll be able to buy as many ponies as you want.

Are you going to IUP? If so, be mindful of withdrawal cutoffs and keep your advisors informed, whatever you decide to do. My job couldn't transfer (the Indiana store refused to work with my class schedule) and my grandmother was dying, so I requested time off. They wouldn't allow it because I requested a couple of days past the deadline. They tossed me into an involuntary withdrawal. All the school cared about was getting their money from me.
