I want to start getting my eyebrows threaded... It's just that they are so wispy and they seem to disappear as they go out that I don't know if it's worth it or not...

Epilator on my legs and under my arms. It's a little machine that pulls out hair. Lasts about three weeks.
Brazilian. Except the itchiness starts to get to me after the third or fourth day!!

how can you stand an epilator? i tried to use one on my legs once and it felt like torture. i couldn't do anything but a patch of hair. i would love to be able to use one on my legs though as there hair doesn't grow back for weeks.

Sometimes I wax, but I usually use an epilator, too.
I hate plucking my eyebrows. It makes me sneeze like crazy!! It really aggravates my allergies, but alas, I still put myself through it.

I pluck my eyebrows, shave my legs, bikini line, & underarms, wax my upper lip, & I lighten my eyebrows down a bit to make them lighter to match my hair...not really torture but just thought I'd throw that beauty act in since it fit
Oh yeah any Floridians who stumble on this post. I have met a lot of people from Florida who shave their forearm hair. I think this is the oddest thing as I've met about 7 people just from FL (no other states) who do it (women & men). Have I just met 7 oddballs or is there a reason as to why some FL people shave their forearm hair?!? I always forget to ask them in person...

I shave my forearm hair! I don't know why, I started doing it as a teen, then I stopped for several years and then I just recently started doing it again. I think I just like the smoothness, the hair wasn't particularly dark so I really don't know, but I like it.

odd... I'm from FL and I don't do that. Maybe because it's hot here?

I never did get shaving forearm hair. I guess I never minded mine. Maybe I should try it just for giggles. I always say that I can't knock something unless I try it... hehe. I pretty much just shave. I tried waxing my legs once and I HATED it. I never did it again it was so painful. I had my eyebrows waxed ONCE and then I have been maintaining them myself by plucking for the past year. It's not that painful but I had absolutely NO idea on how to do eyebrows so I let a professional do it. I just maintain it =)

Yeah I've been meaning to do that....letting my eyebrows grow out & then getting a professional to wax. Just to get them as perfect as possible. But I'm a pluckaholic...I mean I don't have pencil thin "Chola" eyebrows but any stray hair that I see poking up, I'm spastic looking for my tweezers!!! o_O
Haha the reason I noticed the forearm shaving thing is one time I was standing next to my friend (a Floridian) waiting for a table at a restaurant & her arm brushed up against mine & it was all stubly. So I reached down grabbed her arm & asked if she shaved her arm. She told me she did & a lot of people from Florida did. I wanted to ask her why but she turned 10 shades of red & was apparently really embarassed since she was prickly & hadn't shaved for awhile, so I dropped it.
So whenever I meet someone new & find out they are from FL...I always immediately look at their forearms & tally the count :P

I'm from Florida.. I don't shave my forearms but my sisters do! lol
Maybe there's something in the water here? Both of my sister have thick dark ape hair on their arms. I know a lot of girls that have that around here oddly enough..
My arm hair is blond so I don't bother, instead I get the joys of chin hair.. I had electrolysis done, but went on birth control briefly which screwed up my hormones so the hair came back with a vengeance..
I can't really afford to have it done again as I'd already had about 30 sessions, but, I bought a home electrolysis kit and after electrocuting and burning myself about a bazillion times I can finally do it somewhat quickly.. It is pretty difficult to stick a needle in a hair follicle and then hold it in there while electrocuting yourself for 15 seconds.. Grrr..
I've tried waxing and tweezing, but it was just too time consuming for how quickly it grew back for me..
