Remember when I posted about adopting Silver Girl, the persian? Well, since fate has decided that we shouldn't have her, and then she passed away a few days later...I've been searching everywhere for another persian. Of course, I would die to get my boyfriend another Silver-Tipped Chinchilla persian..but they're $1200 cats..and my money really needed to go towards my new car.

Weeelllll.....Wednesday, I was randomly searching Kijiji for a pet that needed to be rehomed..and here's what I found:

He wasn't well taken care of, like a persian needs and deserves..and his coat was shaved down (probably because of matting) and his eyes need to be cleaned. I've been working on that, and I've order some eye products for him too. I was told that he was very shy and timid, and that he didn't like to be held, have his eyes cleaned, and etc etc... the night I brought him home, he was a bit scared, but he's warmed up and LOVES to cuddle and snuggle. He didn't mind me cleaning his eyes or brushing him as well as holding him. And he only cost me $120. My boyfriend likes him, and I loves him to death. The other cats..not so much. :P

i'm so glad you found him and that you can take better care of him ^_^ he's very pretty! do you have a name for him?

Oh yeah, we haven't named him yet. We always stick to a game/anime name..but we're stumped on his right now.

He's purebreed too. And that's what angers me. Someone couldn't treat him properly, so they dumped him off on someone else, who couldn't take care of him herself..so then I get him!! Yay!!! He's going to be a happy kitty now.

oh what a sweetheart! I'd love to see him after he's all cleaned up and happy! it's so nice he has a home with someone who cares now!

Kay, for his name...I think Atreyu has stuck. I liked the Neverending Story. :P
We were going to name him Altair..but I don't think he liked it much. So, Atreyu it is!
