I've been out of the metal loop for a while, so there are probably tons of bands I need to catch up on, but my all-time favorite will probably be Nightwish. I love all types of metal, symphonic especially. It's so hard to pick a favorite song! Hm..maybe Romanticide...or Wish I Had An Angel. Gah, can't choose!

This reminds me, I need to buy their new album.

I'm not sure if I have an absolute favourite band but I love country, I like almost all of the singers and songs from it, and its all I really listen to. Other types of music maybe once and a while but barely.

My musical tastes are kind of all over the place. I mostly listen to Pop or Alternative, but I grew up in Georgia so I have an appreciation for country. I would have to say my Top 10 favorite bands are:

I love something from almost every genre of music. I could listen to the New York Philharmonic just as easily as Lady Gaga. I like Celtic Woman, Adele, the Beach Boys, the Jackson 5 ( though I don't much care for Michael Jackson's newer music), the Orchestra of St. Luke's, since I have friends in that orchestra, Lady Gaga, and KT Tunstall. My favorite songs are Rumour Has It, California Girls (Beach Boys, not Katy Perry), Fun Fun Fun, Dulaman, Suddenly I See, and Bad Romance. My favorite classical pieces are the Nutcracker Suite, Bach's cello suites, Breval's cello Sonata, and Haydn's Surprise Symphony. I'm also partial to Irish music (reels, hornpipes, etc.) and I love movie music too (John Williams rules). I'm definitely all over the place lol.

My favorite band ever has to be the Moody Blues. Choosing the right tracks to show is HARD.
Tuesday Afternoon - quintessential Moodies song. I like the album version better, but this one is neat too.
Have You Heard? I / The Voyage / Have You Heard? II - Warning: 9 min. track! But it's so worth it.
Vintage Wine - I really, really like this song for some reason. Which is strange, it's not all that special... Whatever, I love it.

Other artists I really like are Enya (not the only one, huh, Skeen? ) and Jean-Michel Jarre.
Anywhere Is by Enya - Caribbean Blue has a similar feel to it, and is more widely recognized, but I'm partial to this one.
Chronologie IV by Jean-Michel Jarre - Again, Rendez-Vous 4 is a more well-known song that fits this style, but I like this one slightly better.

I'm not much about "bands" per se. I mostly like instrumental music, from ethnic (Celtic, African and Chinese tend to be my faves) New Age, to full-blown movie soundtracks or electronic dance music. I also like me some good old fashioned rock (various forms of it) every now and then, as well as general 80's music (Tarzan Boy, anyone?) and I guess some pop sometimes. Yes, I'm a bit picky with my music. I'll listen to anything if I happen to like it, though.

I love "Suddenly I See"! Ever since they used it as the farewell song for the girls on So You Think You Can Dance (Season 2), that song makes me smile every time!
