Anyhoo, lightning did in fact strike one of our trees a long time ago.
I woke up one sunny morning to see... "The Claw"... hanging from 20+ feet of Maple Tree.
At least... I think it's a Maple Tree. (?) lol
In any case... I now present to you.... " tHe cLaW " :troll:

Its crazy with some of the weather that's been going around. In my area we are finally starting our summer, after tons and tons of rain, now its really dry, but no lightning down here. I think its been happening higher up from me, which is fine because I don't like those storms much.

That's pretty crazy what happened to that tree.

For me when she says the claw, I think of Jim Carrey in Liar Liar lol.

When I was in high school, we had a lightning strike split 3 different trees in my next door neighbor's yard... IN ONE STORM! Luckily, they were Bradford Pear Trees, which I hate because they STINK when they are in bloom.

It already fell down ~ lol... it was literally like... 20 feet long.

I tried to talk Dad into cutting the "Claw" off the long branch for me.
We could stand it up in the Garden... scare off intruders ~
He wouldnt do it.

When it feel out the tree.. we slayed it with our rusty axe.. throwing its remains into the unknown.

Years ago (think I was about 8 or 9 yrs old)...
lightning struck our TV and VCR.
I remember being really bummed about it.
I couldnt watch My Little Pony ~ <3

A lightning strike is what killed my iPod. It was on one of those alarm clock docking stations, and we had a lightning strike that caused a power surge. The iPod still worked, but the screen didn't, so it was pretty useless as you had no clue how to change the song/playlist.
