Awesome! I'm glad you made a new post for the Newborn Cuties and the redesigned ponies. Although they're Core 7, they're a LOT different, and it's nice to have them lumped here.
Unfortunately, the only positive thing I can say for the new ponies themselves is that I'm glad they are selling a newborn cutie Rainbow Dash without the playset, so she's cheaper and I can get her. Anything else here so far, as of 2/15/09, I'm not excited about.

I can't believe I didn't notice this before, but the single ponies at the top don't seem to have cutie marks.
I see a mark on the MIB Scootaloo, but thats it.

Great pics - thanks so much!
What is with Pinkie Pie's leg on the DVD cover? How many leg joints does she need?
And what kind of plastic are they? Some look like they are rigid plastic? I hope not.....

*Raises hand*
I'm one. They are actually G3v2, or G3.5, but that's too long to say so I'll with G4, people I have said called it that to know exactly what I'm talking about, so G4 works for me.

These are just the prototypes... I would assume that when they are released, they will have their cutie marks.

Wow... I didn't notice Pinkie's leg before.. that is a bit creepy... Yes, I noticed the Dress-up ponies seem to look like a harder shinier plastic, but this may just be because they are the prototypes too. It is weird to see plastic hair on full size ponies too...

I'm with you Kar... I think these should be called G4. To me, they are as different to G3s as G3s were to G2s and so on.... except that they are using the same characters... ugh!
