Merriweather was released in 2004 as part of the Friendship Ball Sparkle Pony assortment. She came with a yellow bow brush. Supposedly, there are 2 versions, with a large & smaller symbol.
She was also released in 2006 as part of the Crystal Princess Ballon Flying assortment. She came with the Breezie Tra La La. Unfortunately, no pics as I don't own this darling

you see she came in the "Rain or Shine with Merriweather and Shenanigans Playset" and has purply-blue hair instead of pink so it confuses people as to who she really is

Ponies are wonderful friends! They love to play together and have exciting adventures. They're also good listeners, and are always ready to help a friend who needs their support. Every year the ponies celebrate their friendships at a magical ball, where one special pony is named Best Friend of the Year! The big event is almost here! Merriweather knows how to make rainy days fun—she takes her pals puddle-jumping! Splash, splash, spash! Don't forget your rain boots!

In 2006, she would be issued in a new pose in a hot air balloon set.
