I've been a lurker off and on for a while, but have finally decided to post.
My name's Amanda and I've loved MLP's for most of my life. In fact, one of my favorite memories as a kid was going to toys R Us and getting new ponies. (Still is, when I can get over to one, but being able to buy one for yourself isn't the same as your grandmother taking you to go get them)
My grandmother, being the wise lady that she is, insisted during my growing up that I keep the ponies, so I did. Well, when the G3's came out (I totally missed the G2 set....not sure how), I bought a few here and there, keeping them in their boxes (unlike my well-played-with childhood collection). Now I'm doing the same thing with the G4's. My boyfriend has been extremely tolerant of my sudden, renewed love for MLP and the whole FiM series, taking me to thrift stores, swap shops and garage sales to look for older ponies. (I'm really enjoying finding ponies that need a little TLC for a couple of quarters... it's a true scavenger hunt, and I've found lots of personally-golden eggs!)
Anyway, I'm a teacher assistant who got the down syndrome girl I work with into ponies this past school year. :yippie:I love to work on my websites, do artwork (drawing and painting), write and read. Love hockey and wrestling (WWE).
I'm looking to get into customs and restores now that I'm currently working on restoring my childhood / ongoing MLP collection.
