My name is Chelsea, pleased to meet you. You may know me from other various websites, but for the majority of them I am simply known as Wildstorm. I am an aspiring Zoologist major who is beginning her college career relatively soon.

It is such a breath of fresh air to find a forum not swarming with MLP:FIM fans only! I am pleased to have found this, which includes the other adorable ponies of the early 2000's and prior.

I've been a fan of MLP since I was five, I actually still have some of my ponies, which I'd lve to post later to get critique on how I have maintained their appearances. I am here to begin my 80's pony collection, because I have always wanted this as a hobby.

Wonderful to be here! ^^ And one random fact about me is my favorite MLP:FIM character is Rarity.

Welcome to the site! I too joined because I noticed that it wasn't all about FiM. I grew up with the original ponies the G1's, and I also really like the G3's, but not the G2's. I recently started watching FiM and its starting to rub off on me. I don't like any of the ponies from that show toy wise besides the really miniature ones, which I think I will just collect the "mane" characters and that's it for them, otherwise I have about 40 of the better looking MLP's!

I am sure you will have a pretty easy time getting more ponies, like someone told me and it really happened, "your collection will grow FAST."

I am wondering how you got to become a Zoologist? What classes did you have to start with?

Welcome! I agree, there's so much more to ponies than FiM. Not that I have anything against it, but they're just not the same as the older generations. I'm a G3 gal myself, but my favorite FiM character is Spike (Applejack, if I have to choose a pony).

Thank you for the welcome! And I do hope that my collection will grow rapidly, I just started collecting the newer ponies recently.
I myself have some ponies left over from G2 (they are actually some of the only toys I have from my childhood left that I truly value), G3, and obviously G4. I hope to post pics eventually. I have also noticed many of the aged ponies on here are in fabulous condition for their age, which is awesome~

MLP:FIM is adorable and I am happy to say that it was the reason why I launched myself back into MLP. But I want to expand beyond the show and go back to my childhood, ultimately being able to obtain the G2's, since that is when MLP started for me ^^ I must say there is such an appearance gap between G1 and G2!

As far as my Zoology career, I am beginning with the standard science classes. I have to take Chemistry, Biology, Zoology (intro), Math, English, and History. I simply chose Zoology as a major while I was searching for a college to apply to. Believe it or not, Zoology is really hard to find in the eastern half of the US! So now I am planning on beginning my life as a college student, and I hope to be an animal conservationist when I am done ^^

Yeah I had a feeling it was really hard to find because I haven't seen it anywhere around where I live either. I want to work with animals at some point in my future and I feel like all I can really choose is veterinary medicine and nothing else. I am starting Biology and Math in the fall and I'll see where I go from there I guess.

Anyway, I am glad that you have some ponies left from your childhood, hang onto them!
