Uh Oh...Another Newbie

Hi to all my new Pony Friends!! :yippie:

My name is Melissa (meaning Honey Bee, my Profile name). I've technically been collecting ponies since about 1983, pretty much as long as I can remember. Technically meaning I stopped for a few years, gave my niece all of them, never to be heard from again. Until the wonderfully adorable G3s....love them! I kept only two of my original G1s... Purple Ember and Spike, I just couldn't part with them. Once the G3s came out I just had to have them all and do have most of them. It renewed my love for the G1s as well, first, with the ones I remembered, then any one I EVER found and still do find. I liked the FIM ponies, but it took a while before I would love them so I do not have many until the Canterlot collection came out. My whole family thinks I'm nuts...especially since ponies aren't the only thing I collect. I love almost all the 80s toys. But they know ponies come first and call me Pony-Crazy!

I've wanted to join the Trading Post for some time now, I just never found the time until now. I do love to visit Flea Markets, Thift Stores and Yard Sales looking for any ponies I can find. I've found some really awesome things in the past and hope to share some more with all of you! I do a bit of selling or trading, but it's really hard to give them up sometimes!!

I collect G3s, too. I had a couple of G1s as a kid... but aesthetically, I just adore the G3s. Look forward to seeing you around! :-)
