Need Help With Breezie Wings

So I just opened up my parade sets and one of them had the Breezie wings just STUFFED in there and they weren't even pulled out of the back slit (like they're supposed to). So now 3 of my Breezies have crumpled up wings. :( What would be the best method of straightening them out to look better?

Thanks for any help and suggestions!!

~Dawn

i can usually sort out small kinks simply by wetting them and resting them on a towel upside down, so the wings lay flat against the towel. if you have a straightening iron, a couple of seconds on a low heat might help also.

Yes, I was going to suggest what Diet said -- trying soaking them in water, get them REALLY wet and then press them out on a towel. Also, if you have a small paper weight, you can leave that pressed on top of the wing while it dries to help flatten it out.

Good luck! I hope you can get them straightened -- how annoying that must have been to open and find them like that!!

I have the exact same problem! I'll have to try Diet's method too. =)

Thanks so much for those suggestions! I will give them a go and hopefully they'll look even lovelier.

But they look so SAD behind all that plastic. Don't worry, I'm saving their packaging in case they need to be trapped again.

Don't know if it would work on that, but...Downey Wrinkle Release is the BEST. I use it everything, not just clothes. They did wonders to my curtains, which I packed by basically stuffing them straight into a giant garbage bag. They didn't come out looking very ready to hang!
