2008 Ornaments at Garden Ridge

I went to Garden Ridge this afternoon.

The 5-pack was $5.99 and the rest were $3.99.

Fizzy Pop - new one is darker

Rainbow Dash - new one has a slightly darker teddy bear

Twinkle Twirl - new one has less glitter

and the trademark is underneath instead of on the left arm

Fluttershy - new one has less glitter, and the symbol is moved. Of course, at the store, we saw 3 Fluttershy’s with different symbol placements. I was not about to purchase all of them!

I went to Garden Ridge this past weekend and found the ornaments too. They also had this one for $6.99:

It was with the glass ornaments, not with the pony ornaments. They also had the two balloon ones, which I also got but don't know if there are any variations with the ones I've gotten previously:

Now that we are back from vacation, and almost done getting the kids ready for school (daughter started today, son starts Friday), I have some time to post again. I hope nobody *kills* me for bumping this up from page 3, but here are some more ornaments.

It's was $15.00 (plus tax), but there was a sale, buy 1, get 1 50% off.


Thanks to ashlyne, we went back to Garden Ridge. All of these ornaments were $6.99 (plus tax).

To my daughter's dismay, after getting home, I noticed all 3 were different. The first one has dark purple ears, the middle has light purple ears, and the third has silver ears.


The Pinkie Pie Balloons are available (again).

For the green one, I noticed the star above pony was in 2 places, the first is to the right, the other is in the center.


Now for the differences:
Each has a year sticker underneath: 2005, 2007, 2008
2005 is pink, while 2007 and 2008 are purple
2007 and 2008 - star color pattern is different, 2007 the strip (with hearts) is dark purple and 2008 appears almost black, 2008 pony is lighter, and has less glitter

2005, 2007, 2007
green - the 2005 and 2008 are darker than 2007, and the 2008 has less glitter
the colors of the stars are different shades, as well as the strip below the ballon (pink, purple, lt purple)


And, just because, I went ahead and purchased the other mini 5-pack.

Since the very tiny differences did not photograph well, here’s a description:
Star Swirl - The red in her swirl is slightly darker
Sweet Breeze - symbol placement is slightly different
Rainbow Dash - symbol is down instead of accross
Sky Wishes - symbol placement is slightly different
Fizzy Pop - symbol placement is slightly different

akk! It is always sooo hard to find all of the ornaments let alone variations too. I still never found the sweet breeze one and cherry blossom in teal one.
