How to display sea ponies?

How do other people display their sea ponies?

My babies are fine most have their floaties and the few that don't I pop up behind the one's that do and they look fine and all are visible on display. My adults are another story though . . . none have shells (and I can't see them getting them anytime soon either lol) so I'm not sure what to do with them.

I couldn't stand them just lying on the front of the shelves so I popped them behind some other ponies and now I can only barely see their heads. Any ideas for something I can either buy or make to pop them in so they can sit up and look pretty on display?

Hi. I would be interested in learning how to display sea ponies too. I used to have one shell, but I don't have it anymore. I don't have the sea pony any more either, but I am hoping one day she will come home to live with me.

I think some people put the adults in styrofoam cups with the bottoms cut out. I don't know though. I thought I read that some people do that.

This may sound odd, but I use shotglasses... it works very good for the babies at least so it's maybe worth a shot? (lol, pun not intended)

Shot glasses do work very well for those baby sea's. They're clear so you can see the pony, and they're inexpensive to boot.

I remember someone posting pictures of small stands they made as kids for their seaponies out of Playdoh/clay; it's a cute idea and it worked! (I can't find the thread though).

You could also fill a shallow bowl with those glass beads they use in vases with fake flowers; they'll hold your ponies upright and if you get blue ones it'll look like they're in water. Someone did that with their Paradise Estate pool.

edit: *points at sig* look what I am, lol.

I'm not really a seapony fan because of this issue lol but I'm liking the ideas for displaying them (especially the beads)

Ooow love the bead idea. I was thinking about this problem myself for the ones I recently won. I was planing to put them in a bowl with blu plastic or somthing over the top with holes they could be slipped in, but that would look so much better.

You know I was going to experiment with making a stand for the rearing ponies, so maybe I can work on one for the sea ponies too.
