That's Sailor Libra's activity, so I'll leave that to her to explain It's basically a competition to see who can whack a fakie the farthest distance using sporting equipment, from what I understand.

Basically my original worry was about the fakie being destroyed somehow (actually broken, being batered or knocked around is fine with me)... so as long as that doesn't happen, it sounds like a fun activity. And if by any chance it DOES happen, then I guess I just won't participate in it.

Now on the fakies, I prefer not to get those hard plastic like ones. I don't want pieces flying everywhere to hurt someone. We use the ones like from the dollar store or some of those hippo head ones or the alicorn ones, etc. The more flexible it is, the better. No fakies are harmed/destroyed in this game. They are pretty tough like things. MBJ hit the nail on the head. All you do is take a bat or field hockey stick or any other sport equipment that you hit a ball with and just whack the fakie. You can have someone pitch the fakie to you or you can do your own where you throw the fakie in the air and smack it. The game is to see who can get the fakie to fly the farthest and everyone will hopefully be able to get 3 turns each. It's a good stress reliever if you've had a rough drive in or had a bad day so far. Whippetluv gave me the idea a few years ago. She showed us how to do it at the VA pony meet. Last year's VA pony meet whack a fakie, the poor mail man had to drive through a barage of ponies in the street when we were playing a round of it. haha. It was funny watching him trying to dodge them laying in the street. And no, we did not aim for the mail truck. We stopped for him to pass by.
