My aunt found this article in a magazine in Mexico.
It talks about how to close the 25th Anniversary of MLP, Hasbro organized a big event in Mexico where some Mexican fashion designers had to design outfits for some ponies. Apparently there was a big party to show off the designs.

A few key points about the Mexican version:
- Styling Starcatcher was used as the base
- There were designers who participated (and thus 10 ponies made)
- They were displayed for three weeks at the "Palacio de hierro"
- At the end of the three weeks, they were auctioned off at a live event.
- The money went to Fondo Unido
- Over 5500 Pesos were raised for the charity from the event
