McD's Ponyville wagon?

So I found this wagon-thing, that says My Little Pony on it, and has an inset circle exactly the right size to fit the base of a McD's ponyville pony. Any idea who it actually came with, and if that's what it's for or am I totally mis-identifying it's purpose?

It came with the MCD Ponyville Minty.. As far as the real purpose of it... not a clue.

All the McD's Ponyvilles came with a set piece. There was a chair, a vanity, a well, a gate with an archway... those are the ones I can remember right off the bat. I have them all somewhere, I guess they thought it might seem cheap if the Happy Meals only came with one tiny pony or something.
