No offense but... ... Childish... :S You know... I don't know why everyone was arguing about ' new core 7' - 'They're horrible'. Hasbro aimed the ponies at KIDS. I won't be buying any of them. They're just kids toys with a hint of sparkly glitter... My opinion.

Ah...well if we are indeed "childish" for discussing the topic, then we fit in perfectly with the demographic Hasbro is aiming at!

In all seriousness though, I actually had a little girl staying with me for the past few days and she is completely smitten with my MLPs. Her opinion is that the G1's are the most beautiful, and she thinks the g2s and g3s are cute, but she absolutely abhors the new style Hasbro is marketing...oh and this is a little girl who DOES like the new Littlest Petshops, so there's something.

Also, though in our childish adult states, we may no longer be "real" children, I'd venture that most of us still remember what it is like to be a child, and what sort of toys we were drawn to.

Ish, I don't like em so much. But then again, when MLP was brand new, and I was, um, well... :::Sigh:::: already in my 20s like a lot of G1 fans are now, I thought the G1s were the WIERDEST little toys I'd ever seen. Funny looking, fat bodied plastic things, looked NOTHING like a horse or pony to me!! Nonetheless, I bought at least one for a niece.

I'm not really sure what happened, but sometime during the past year, after my kid discovered MLPs, they grew on me. And now I skulk around buying them and praying for a yard sale bonanza. Yikes.

So I wonder if these new BHPs (Big Head Ponies) will grow on those of us who find them kinda... big headed and edema-legged.
Nan
