Even though I don't really like the idea of combining mlp with horror/goth stuff, I think I'll be getting one anyway just because it's an "exclusive".

Over the past few days I've been looking at this collector pony wondering if it's good or not. I will say that the artistic effort that went into it is wonderful, now my A-bomb;
I hate it. From the pose to the graphics on the legs, blah. I'm beginning to wonder if the makers are wondering now many "tattoos" they can fit onto the body of a pony. In the end it looks overdone & cluttered. IMO, the flame job(on her legs), almost all the daisies(speaking of the purple ones), and the dots under the eyes were unnessisary.
The fur lined hood is a total hit with me.

Loved the original, I'm glad J.M. won the accolade from Hasbro to mass produce her design. I was rooting for either her, or TokiDoki's or the red socks baseball pony.
Did anyone at the Fair snap a pic of the reverse side of the miniature version?
I'd be bummed if the 5" model didn't have those adorable little stingrays on it.
Yes, I will buy this. From either Hasbro or more likely through Diamond Previews ( that's the distributors catalog you get at your comic book store) - Dimaond has had the blue/black, the underwater and pop art ponies, so they should solicit this one too.

Hmmm. The design change wasn't really necessary, was it? I mean, it's not really intended for a child's toy, it's for collectors. I'll get one anyway, it's still cool. But I think the origional design just came together alot better.
