2009 Target Holiday Ponies

Spotted a couple of ponies in the holiday aisles at Target today. There's a G4 Sweetie Belle with a scarf with snowglobe-like packaging, and a re-release of A Very Minty Christmas DVD with a Minty Ponyville toy (same as the advent calendar last year I think). Photos here.

(Sorry if this is a repeat, but I didn't find anything in a search. I'm totally obsessed with holiday ponies, so I've been on the lookout).

I haven't seen the DVD, but I saw Sweetie Belle last weekend. I hate the pose , but I like the packaging.

Yeah, I'm kinda torn. I'm not crazy about the G4s, but I love holiday ponies, and the packaging is cute.

I've had Sweetie Belle for months now. I have no idea why they released her so so early! That's likely why you never saw a post. Oddly, the winter release in stores is old news. Very strange.

I just purchased Holiday Sweetie Belle a few weeks ago. I wished that there were more 2009 holiday ponies, though.

Is it just me or do the G4s (I'm still getting used to G3 darnit!) sort of have bubble heads? As in heads too big for their bodies?

Must remember to look at new ponies next time I'm in a store...lol

It's like they've been hybridized with Littlest Pet Shop or something. But back on topic, YES! Maybe I'll go spend that last Target gift card at long last. I like Minty.

I like to call our younger son G4 since his head is in the 97th percentile :P

I haven't seen anything other than the Sweetie belle :(
