Some people pay that much for a handbag - some for a pony *shrugs* whatever makes you happy - I certainly couldn't or probably even would if I did have the money but good luck to those lucky enough who can

I'm with you! I would never spend that much on a MLP. The most exspensive things that I do own, are purses like you mentioned. But... I still have not even reached that price range!

hehehe I have 2 LV that I absolutely adore (although both were second hand purchases) and I haven't got near that price range either

Some people do although in all honestly there aren't very many that hit that sort of mark - a couple of the greeks, maybe SA ponies etc. Lots do go in the hundreds like Repunzal, Sweet Sccops, Greeks and other Nirvana ponies like some of the Italian CP hybrids.

I guess MLP like anything has all different types of collector some of us more serious (I'm not sure that's really the word I want but it'll have to do ) than others.

Yes, they do lol! Who remembers that MOC Mimic from a few years back on eBay? That hit the $1000 range easily... might have even gone a bit over!

It's hard to believe anyone would pay that, I guess I'm just one of those people that could never justify spending that much on a pony, no matter how pretty or neat it was. If I was going to spend that much I'd much rather get all the ones on my current wish list!

I don't have many nirvanas in my collection, mostly because I am still collecting the more common ponies. But I envy those who can afford gems like this in their collection... Good luck to anyone who might be bidding!
