Advice please :)

Hi i am new on here. I have just started collecting MLP. I have just bought a job lot from ebay for very cheap. They are all a bit grubby, what is the best way to wash them? also 1 of them has permanent marker on it, is it possible to get it off? And 1 of the baby 1s has no tail, where can i get a replacement in the UK? Any advice would be much appreciated. thanks.

Fingernail polish remover will take almost anything off just dont go over the eyes or symbols with it as it will remove them as well. Also you'll want to make sure to give them a soap and water bath afterwards to wash the fingernail polish remover off.

The only way i know of to remove permanent marker is sun fading, which can take a little while and im no expert at it....

And for a replacement tail i would post here in the wanted section what ponies tail your wanting

My cleaning routine is:

Wet with hot water (unless it's a SS then cool water). Anything with a mechanism like a brush N grow don't submerge in water incase they rust internally).

Spray with oxy laundry stuff

Scrub with a firm tooth brush then rinse

Shampoo and then conditioner mane and tail.

Leave them to dry. You can wrap a tissue around their neck to help the mane lie flat and I leave them sitting back on their backsides so water can drain out the tail hole.

Once they're dried any left over marks I go over with nail poliosh remover (as already said go carefully around painted areas).

Then when finished in the salon all my ponies get a ribbon to make them pretty

To sunfade cover the rest of the pony apart from the mark and leave it in a sunny window - can takes AGES but can work.

You can get a replacement tail from another pony or order hair from dollyhair and make your own.
Good luck with it I love cleaning up ponies
