Customised Playsets

I'm wanting to customise some playsets and accessories for my ponies, but I'm having trouble finding information and inspiration.

Has anyone made their own playsets/accessories or customised existing ones before? Do you have any pictures you'd be willing to share?

I'm thinking that 1:6 would probably be the best scale for accessories, but can anyone confirm this?

Thanks for the help!

I've never made my own playset, but 1:6 is the scale for Barbie. You might want to try maybe 1:10 or 1:12. The 1:12 scale is the same as calico critters.

That Candy Parlour is AMAZING!

I'm hoping to make a butcher shop for a custom ponyI'm working on named "Meat-Cute".

You know the 1:6 scale might work for the accessories.

I'm going to try and dig out some of my old dollshouse accessories (I know I have some in both 1:12 ans 1:6 scales)

I'll take some photos of accessories with the pony I'm planning on customising and post them here...mayve you guys can give your opinions on what you think may work best when you see the photos?

Oh my. That's beautiful. I wish Hasbro made that so I could have one. Wow.

Do you know, I have never thought of doing that before! I love customising, and have made a couple of dolls houses. I would LOVE to do a customised playset…. Except, would you worry about depriving collectors of G1 playsets? Or do I just say this from the perspective of someone who is still looking for some G1 playsets?
They are beautiful though..
