Cool Buddah Cookie Monster for PikaCheck...


Her thread for this commission was only up for a few hours when I noticed it. I jumped on this art oppurtunity right away. I love Cookie Monster as much as her and my husband too. I had loads of fun making this for her and would love to do something else with her in the future.

It's on a Mona Lisa 8"x10" illustration board, acrylic and watercolor paint. Took three days to complete.

Commissions are open if anyone would like something in the future painted by me.

The scan doesn't do the colors on the pic justice at all- much more vibrant in person!
Totally love the pic, though. Have to figure out where I'm going to put it, now!

That's what I said to myself when I scanned it. It really doesn't bring out the colors very well unless you see it in person. I was also tempted to frame it for you at my work on my days off, but was afraid that the glass would break during transport and ruin the piece. I figured a light to medium light bambo styled frame would look nice with it.

You're so sweet- I would not have expected you to frame it! I agree, though- they probably would've broken the glass in shipping.
That's okay, though- the bamboo frame is a great idea! I will look for one this weekend. That actually works out pretty well because we have an asian-theme happening in our living room, so Cookie Buddha will be a great conversation piece!
